EMDR intensives are offered in 3-day segments: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Clients can expect to experience significant improvements in mood, trauma reactions, and anxiety through this trauma technique when implemented in an intensive model.

Pre Assessment
Clients will schedule a 15-minute consultation call prior to making an appointment for the intensive weekend. Clients can share a brief overview of traumas they want to work through; additionally, I will assess the client for support systems, potential risks, and safety measures. Clients have the opportunity to ask any questions or concerns they may have during this time as well. It is strongly recommended to complete one's own research on EMDR, before scheduling the consult call. We will determine by the end of this call if the intensive model is best suited for you, or what would be recommended.

Assessment and Planning
Once we have confirmed your intensive weekend, we will schedule an assessment and planning session. Prior to this session, the client will complete an intake form and 3 assessments. During our session together, we will review these results, discuss history, current concerns, and identify traumas to work through. We will complete grounding techniques and complete your trauma timeline. This session is 2 hours long can be paid through insurance or private pay.

Daily Schedule
Clients will have a morning, afternoon and early evening session for the 3-day long weekend; each session is 60 minutes. Clients can choose between 3 different time slots in the morning, afternoon and early evening.
Time slot schedule: 10 am, 11am, 12pm; 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm; 5pm, 6pm, 7pm.
There is a break in between time slots where clients are encouraged to explore nature, nourish their body, walk in a local park, connect with a loved one, or get a spa treatment.
Clients will have one follow up session 4 weeks after their intensive weekend. Based on the progress made in the intensive, suggestions will be provided for clients. In this intensive model, clients will have the opportunity to reprocess up to 9 traumatic events over 3 days!

Pricing and Location
Intensives are not covered by insurance unfortunately. However, your assessment and planning session, as well as the follow up session, can be paid through insurance. Clients will create an account on Headway for these sessions. There is a 72-hour cancelation policy on intensive weekends. Please book a consult call to discuss my competitive rates of intensives.
Intensives are held only in person at my office in Plantation, Florida. Assessment and follow up sessions can be virtual or in person.
